At Glass Hack, we’re passionate about turning ideas into reality. Our members come from diverse backgrounds, but they all share a love for creating and building things. We’ve worked on countless projects - some big, some small, but all of them born out of creativity and collaboration. In this section, you’ll find a selection of the projects we’ve completed in the hackspace. Busylight

While working at home during the Pandemic, member Andrew Williams created a ‘busylight’ as a easy way to indicate to his partner that he was busy or unavailable. The busylight is made out of a standard ESP8266 and a LED in a basic project box. Using ESPHome he was able to integrate the light into his Home Assistant setup and give it a simple, button interface to change the LED.
